Local Man Makes Glass Guitars Chivers Gives Les Paul A Glass Les Paul Guitar MILWAUKEE -- A local glass artist is creating glass guitars for display and a solid body glass electric guitar that can be played as well. Brian Chivers is a window repairman turned glass artisan, and he has made the guitars completely out of glass. Chivers has already given one guitar to Les Paul. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chivers said it takes him two weeks to make one guitar. He said he creates the glass guitars by cutting thin strips of glass and fusing them together in a process he said he won't reveal. Chivers said he started repairing broken windows in Waukesha. Fifteen years ago, as a glass cutter by day and a rock drummer at night, he said he noticed something, and his first glass guitar was born. Perfecting what is now cutting-edge guitar art, Chivers said his fingers have paid a price. Chivers said he'll be delivering in person the autographed hand made guitar to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. WISN Channel 12 News.

Les invited Us up to His hotel room at The Milwaukee Athletic Club to autograph and except Our gift of a Glass Les Paul to Him 5-9-07 After He autographed this one He said it was the most beautiful thing He ever saw and that He would never forget Us. He also signed two more, one for Us and one that We will donate to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, OH. in His honor.  After Les Autographed Our Art He was kind enough to pose for a picture with Us.  We were also graced with a picture of Les Paul's Son Russ.  These are two of the nicest guy's You could ever meet and They treated Us with much dignity and respect. We will never forget them for what they have done for Us.
